Georgia Drive-in Workshop Session Proposals

Friday, August 4, 2023 to Friday, September 15, 2023

Event Details

Southern Association for College Admission Counseling (SACAC)

SACAC Drive-In Workshops are professional development opportunities designed specifically for high school counselors, community-based organizations, and independent counselors. We are excited to announce the GA Drive-In Workshop will be hosted on Tuesday, February 27, 2024. The location is still being finalized and will be released prior to the deadline. Registration information for the event will be sent separately.

We are always excited about the opportunity to make the workshops a productive and collaborative experience that meets your needs, but for the first time, we are launching a call for proposals! Below you will find more information regarding the process!

Drive-In Workshop Theme

For the first time, we are excited our workshops will have a theme! The theme this year will build off the annual conference theme, It Starts with Us. Our theme will be It Continues with Us. Aligned with our strategic plan, this theme is an opportunity to continue practicing, living, and embracing the strategic goals and objectives that we’re charged with fulfilling.

Call for Drive-In Workshop Session Proposals

With your help, we can ensure that the Georgia Drive-In Workshop hits on the topics that are pertinent to your individual state and professional role. We need your expertise, and we hope that you will consider submitting a session proposal.

As you think about potential sessions, we encourage you to collaborate with colleagues. We ask that you invite a co-presenter (or a few) from a SACAC member high school or college/university to join you!

Session proposals must be submitted by the deadline of September 15, 2023. Proposals must be submitted by clicking here.

If you have any questions, please reach out to us directly!

Sincerely,

GA Drive-In Workshop Co-Coordinators
