Speaker: Natalie Grubbs
Dr. Natalie Grubbs is an assistant professor of school counseling, a former school counselor, and the chair of the Advocacy Committee for the Georgia School Counselor Association (GSCA). Dr. Grubbs is aClinical Assistant Professor and Program Coordinator of School Counseling at Georgia State University. With 18 years of experience as a school counselor, she has worked in tight-knit school communities, building strong relationships with students, families, and educators. Dr. Grubbs is passionate about ensuring every child in Georgia has access to a comprehensive school counseling program and actively engages in legislative advocacy to support the profession. She trains and mentors future school counselors, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to become effective advocates for their students, schools, and communities. Through her work in counselor education, she integrates service-learning, community partnerships, and policy awareness to empower school counselors in training to be leaders in systemic change.
