GSCA Webinar Series - What You Didn't Learn in Grad School - Channeling Your Inner School Counselor Challenge
Event Details
Session Overview:
Do you ever wonder how to celebrate National School Counseling Week with your students, faculty, and staff? Discover fun activities and school-wide contests that teach students the value of empathy, kindness, self-care, mindfulness, and gratitude by asking them to Channel Their Inner School Counselor.
A School Counselor’s role is a mystery for most students, faculty, and staff. This presentation will teach school counselors how to define their role for a broader audience, increase awareness of a School Counselor’s role, and teach students positive coping mechanisms, skills, and strategies. Additionally, this presentation demonstrates that National School Counseling Week does not have to be about serving others but allowing others to Channel Their Inner School Counselor to make their community and school better.
