Thursday, November 13, 2025
1:00 PM - 2:00 PM (EST)

Event Details

Career exploration is vital for young learners to understand various professions and their roles in society. The Career Discovery Stations initiative aims to create designated areas within elementary schools where K–3 students can engage in play-based activities centered around different careers. These stations feature a variety of career-themed toys and props, such as veterinarian kits, beauty shop accessories, dentist tools, restaurant playsets, paleontology digs, architecture building blocks and more. By integrating play-based learning with career exploration, students can develop early awareness of different professions while having fun.

Learning Objectives:

After viewing this webinar, you will be able to:

  1. Design and implement Career Discovery Stations that engage K–3 students in play-based career exploration
  2. Facilitate role-playing experiences that encourage creativity, problem-solving and self-expression
  3. Lead guided reflection and discussion to help students connect play experiences to real-world careers and personal interests
  4. Apply strategies to integrate career awareness into early elementary curriculum in a developmentally appropriate way
