Event Details
The Georgia School Counselor Association (GSCA) would like to invite GSCA members to be a part of the in-person 2024 GSCA Counselors at the Capitol on Wednesday, February 7th. Attendees will hear from state legislators and student advocates, learn about legislative initiatives affecting education, students, and school counseling, and develop advocacy action plans. Your 2023-2024 GSCA President and Advocacy Team are working to plan additional activities for this day that will conclude around 12:30.
We know how difficult it can be to leave your school building, however, your involvement in this event is important in sharing the voice of school counselors from across the state and advocating for our profession and our students. We hope that you will please consider joining us.
