2022 Scholarship Winners

GSCA Community,

GSCA is pleased to announce the following 2022 Scholarship recipients.  We wish these scholars all the best in their studies.

Legacy Scholarship
These scholarships are granted to up to two deserving children and/or grandchildren of GSCA members to provide recognition and financial assistance for those graduating seniors who are entering their first year of full-time post-secondary education.

PROBE Scholarship
Thanks to a generous donation from PROBE, GSCA State Counselor of the Year and President grant scholarships to a deserving student. Application process is determined by individual counselor.

Mikeal Sullivan, son of member Berish Strother - attending Mercer University

Emeliza Swain Scholarship
Emeliza Swain was a long-time counselor educator at the University of Georgia and was instrumental in early years of GSCA. In February 1982, the Secondary School Counselor of the Year award was named after her. The student recipient(s) are selected by the State School Counselor of the Year and the President.
